A Deeper look into the BMI LOVE and WARM EMBRACE program:

- Community Outreach:

As part of the BMI LOVE and WARM EMBRACE program, BMI is reaching out to other groups and organizations donating and distribute heritage foods, and gift cards to broaden our impact on the African/Caribbean community. By reaching out to vulnerable community members, we can begin to tackle problems that affect us all. Let's propel together. Send us a message if you'd like to lend a hand, donate, or collaborate with us.

LET'S PROPEL TOGTHER

To help support 40 families in need, BMI donates 40 gift cards to the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul—Mary, Mother of God.

- Food Drive:

BMI food drive is an initiative that targets individuals and families that are in need of food security. Please let us know by clicking the link below if you need any help and support.

Date:

To be determined.

Food drive.

- Tools to propel:

Skill-trade programs are rarely highlighted in the Black community, especially in the African community, as viable career paths despite their high demand and lucrative nature. To this end, BMI seeks to improve how these trades are perceived by having conversations with experts in skill trade.
This educational virtual mentoring and skill-building session, Tools to Propel, will dive deeply into alternative career paths available in Canada.

Participants will gain a better understanding of other career options and information to jumpstart their career in the skilled trade with the assistance of our knowledgeable speakers, who will share their own experiences and why they chose a skill trade career path.

Date:

December 15th, 6:00-7:30 PM
